Join us for our Unplugging Event – the solar equivalent of a ribbon cutting ceremony – on Thursday Feb 15\, 2024 at 11am to see the unveiling of the new system\, meet the developers\, and hear from community leaders about solar energy’s impact on the city. \n \nRevolt Energy\, a prominent local solar energy company based in Nitro West Virginia\, has recently completed the installation of a cutting-edge 79-panel\, 32kW solar system at the Nitro Public Library. This state-of-the-art solar solution is set to meet the entirety of the facility’s annual energy requirements. \nIn the inaugural year alone\, the newly installed solar system is anticipated to yield significant savings\, reducing the city’s electricity bills by nearly $3\,400. Looking ahead\, with the ongoing escalation in electricity costs\, the system is projected to generate savings of approximately $200\,000 over its operational lifespan.
